The store was clean, well stocked and the cashier was SO friendly and helpful!! She saved me $30!!! :D
I know Corporations give no F"cks about customer reviews, but this got to me. Found some of what we needed. Out of stock and very picked over with the big ticket item we wanted in the kitchen section. It's retail at Xmas, good luck keeping the store looking nice. I worked many years in retail so I can relate.
2 stars is for the cashier - some young guy (name not on receipt). Like all Kohl's, managers "hold guns to employees' heads" to push credit cards. My wife told this kid "no" politely 3 times. He continued to push and I stepped in to say a very stern "We're in enough credit card debt...no" while glaring at him. He backed off and got the message. Then, said "it's Christmas so I'll give you 15% off anyway." Cocky bastard...Stop it with trapping people into 29.99% credit card debt Kohl's. You make checking out a very unpleasant experience for all when when your employees won't stop with the credit card scam.
Women at the jewelry counter made the entire experience. I think her name was penny. Answered all of my questions. Store was nice. Felt homie
I visited this store early this afternoon with the impression of purchasing a fantastic gift for my birthday and to be provided with excellent customer service. My goal was to purchase jewelry that was on sale at unbelievable prices. Well, I approached the fine jewelry cases, searching for that special earring. After about 10 minutes, someone finally asked if they could help. At this point, I wished I was a secret shopper. This was very unacceptable, especially since I was the only one at the counter. The sales person, turned out to be helpful, but unfortunately for her, she was not very attentive to her surroundings. Now, I know how it is to be the only salesperson on the floor due to prior experience, but, at least acknowledge that you recognize your customer's presence. Ten minutes is too long to acknowledge when you are not busy.
Store is extremely messy. Clothes everywhere. Staff was not friendly and kind of looked down at you. Seemed annoyed with questions. Did not have a variety of sizes on clothes or shoes. The only products stocked well and displayed well were the home goods and decorations. I will not be returning.
