I signed my daughter up for the $10/month membership through my bank account, but the moment she turned 18 she switched to a $20 membership without asking our permission and was then locked into a year long contract. I needed to cancel her membership and understood there'd be a buy-out fee, but the club manager, Victoria, waived the fee considering the circumstances. I didn't even ask for that, she just offered it. What great customer service!
I've been a member is planet fitness for about a year now. And in that year I have been very pleased with my experience there. This specific location has always had a very friendly and welcoming staff, which is a big deal to me. The gym is also always clean and tidy. Weights are never laying around and there isn't much wait time between machines. I like that after a workout I can lay on a hydro bed and get a quick massage or sit in the massage chair. It's an all around relaxing and comfortable environment for working out.
Excellent gym with good variety of equipment. A little professionalism at front desk would not hurt.
Busy usually but after midnight less people. Clean and friendly workers. A lot of equipment. Free Wi-Fi. Showers and lockers. Don't forget to take a lock. Tanning and massage beds.
